Privacy

Short version: we collect what is needed to sell you a course and show you your progress in it, and nothing else. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Your account — email address and name, handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. We never see or store your password.
• Your purchase — handled by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store the payment reference and the amount.
• Your progress — which lessons you have marked complete.
• Usage analytics — aggregate information about which pages are visited, used to work out which lessons need rewriting.

What we do not collect

We do not record anything you type into an AI tool. The course is reading material — nothing you do in ChatGPT or any other product passes through us.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the service: Clerk for accounts, Stripe for payments, Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email, and our analytics provider. Each receives only what it needs.

Where it is stored

Data is hosted in Australia where the provider offers it. Some providers process data overseas; buying the course means agreeing to that transfer.

How long we keep it

Your account and progress are kept while your access is active, and access is permanent. Ask us to delete them and we will, subject to keeping the transaction records tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email TODO(legal): privacy contact email. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
